Forest Wetlands

I went into Harold Parker State Forest this afternoon.

The sun was visible for a while but lost the battle to thick layers of clouds.  Then strong winds kicked up and it got quite cold for this time of year.

First up, the wetlands on both sides the road.

Tree stump not focused but an interesting result.

Kind of heart shaped tree log in the wetlands.

Leaf floating by in the wetlands, lots of water flowing.

Stream feeding the wetlands.

Next up, Stearns Pond area.

 Canadian geese.

 Brook feeding into Stearns Pond.

Lastly, Frye Pond and surroundings.
