Frozen Field Pond

It was a very cold afternoon but I went back to Harold Parker State Forest and walked around the trails and on the ice of Field Pond.

First a few photos through the ice:
Green pine needles underneath.
A red berry exposed by the cracked ice.
Pine needles and leaves just beneath the ice.
Atop the ice on Field Pond:

Found some interesting paw prints in the snow too:
