Frozen Field Pond

It was a very cold afternoon but I went back to Harold Parker State Forest and walked around the trails and on the ice of Field Pond.

First a few photos through the ice:
Green pine needles underneath.
A red berry exposed by the cracked ice.
Pine needles and leaves just beneath the ice.
Atop the ice on Field Pond:
Skaters in the distance.

Found some interesting paw prints in the snow too:

Plant life surviving the winter:

Very happy to find this icy waterfall at Field Pond:

Other photos of interest:
Weathered Pine Tree Log
Brownish & Greenish Granite
